About AstroCluster
Meet our team tackling the 2025 NASA Space Apps Challenge: Hunting for Exoplanets with AI
AstroCluster
Hunting for exoplanets using artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate the discovery of worlds beyond our solar system.
Our Challenge
A World Away: Hunting for Exoplanets with AI
Data from space-based exoplanet surveying missions like Kepler, K2, and TESS have enabled the discovery of thousands of new planets outside our solar system. However, most of these exoplanets were identified manually by astrophysicists.
Our mission is to create an AI/ML model trained on NASA's open-source exoplanet datasets that can automatically analyze new data to accurately identify exoplanets, complete with a web interface for researchers and enthusiasts.
What Weβre Building
AI/ML Model
